One more goodbye

On Sunday night we drove into the City for a farewell gathering -- our good friend Paul is moving back to Chicago (he's originally from Edina) after moving to SF in 2007 to attend USF. Many of you may remember Paul from our wedding and his help during our transition to California.

In total Paul fashion - a big group of us met at a dive bar in SF :) I couldn't resist snapping these pictures as we drove over the Bay Bridge. The sunsets here (if you can see them, oftentimes the fog is too thick) are awesome. One of the perks of living next to an ocean.

I didn't manage to get a picture with Paul, though we have plenty of those from over the years. You can actually see him in the background of this picture of Andrew and I enjoying ourselves -- he's the guy over Andrew's shoulder in the black shirt haha

While we're sad to see Paul go, we're excited to have another friend in the Windy City. We both love Chicago and now we have another excuse to make our way to the Midwest!
