Each year Sonoma County holds two barrel tasting weekends, which is just what it sounds like - going around to a bunch of wineries with friends and enjoying wine right from the barrel.

A whole crew of us (15 to be exact) all pitched in for a big 15 person van to ride up and around in. We started at Deloach Winery where we picked our wine glasses and soaked up some early afternoon rays.

We even had some out-of-towers along for the day. David's girlfriend Michelle was out from Chicago for the weekend. I love it when Michelle is around - she's great :)

Part of the usual crew (Steph, Amy and Willie).

Sunce Wintery always has one of the best parties complete with BBQ, 20+ barrels of wine and chocolate chip cookies. And the weather couldn't have been more perfect!!

Mo Dee and me hangin' in the sunshine. Mo and her husband Sean are moving to Chicago this summer (Sean is graduating and has accepted a job offer at a consulting firm). We can't wait to visit them but I'll miss having Mo around!

Rob with his winnings...a bottle of wine split 14 ways doesn't go very far ;)

Two from our group, I affectionally call 'the Wives Club' ha

The Sacia's and the Dee's.

Our other out of town guest - Martha, Willie's cousin. We first met Martha this past New Year's and instantly discovered how fun she is.

Andrew was happy to see Martha again too haha

About to hit the road again in our beautiful white van. Thanks Joe Swish for driving!
