Lab Update

Tomorrow is Andrew's last day of spring semester classes. Students then have an 'off week' to study prior to a week of finals, followed by a summer filled with research and lab time.

Andrew is REALLY ready to be done with classes so he can focus on his lab work, and more specifically, his reactor. He continues to be obsessed with constructing and perfecting it.

So, in an effort to keep you all updated on what is going on and what is important in our life out here in Berkeley, here is an updated picture of Andrew's handy work. He ordered each part and had each piece of metal custom made for his 'unit'. He's put a lot of thought and time into it, hence the big grin on his face.

p.s. As proof of his obsession I will point out the webcam he has pointed at the unit (the white egg-shaped thing on the top left of the unit) so he can check on it 24/7. Gotta love a passionate dork! I sure do ;)
