During a game of WiiGolf, it came out that Flo and Annika had never swung a real golf club or hit a bucket of balls before. So one afternoon while Andrew worked away in the lab I took Flo and Annika to the local driving range up in Tilden Regional Park. We got a huge bucket of balls, a few stalls and had a great time just playing around.They were super quick learners! Flo especially picked up really fast. I suppose he had an advantage since he's a gym teacher back home in Germany -- he has that hand-eye coordination thing down pat ;)After figuring out that Annika was left handed and tracking down a lefty golf club, she did great job as well. Her shot is nice a straight. If only we could all be so lucky....120 balls later we grabbed Andrew from lab for some real American grub. Flo thought it was the best burger he had ever had and they were both in love with the chocolate malts.
It's so fun to show-off all things American - food, hobbies, sights, traditions. So many things to indulge in and enjoy!!
