The official results are in - Andrew passed his prelim exams!
He is now on the road to becoming a "PhD Candidate". He has one other major exam in Fall 2011 where he will need to present on his project, after which he will be a true "Candidate". Hopefully that one won't be so crazy/stressful/time consuming.
Congrats to Andrew - we all knew you could do it :)
