Post Christmas

In addition to relaxing and playing with Karen's new Wii after Christmas, we went car shopping with Ryan (he didn't end up getting anything) and the over to the big gingerbread house competition Prescott holds every year.

There were two primary competition categories: amateurs and professionals.

"Santa's Work Shop" was a one of the winners in the professional category. The detail was incredible!!

They always have fun together - no matter where they are...


On Sunday we had a leisure morning and eventually made our way to Scottsdale to say goodbye to Nini and Poppa and catch our flight home.

It was bittersweet - we were so happy to get to see everyone but sad at the prospect of not knowing when our next time together would be.

With any luck at all, it will be very soon :)

Maybe a reunion in New Zealand while Caroline is there?!? A girl can dream...
