Tessy's Fashion Show

On Saturday morning, Andrew went off to lab while Courts and I climbed into the car to go to Sacramento. Not ones to pass up an outlet mall opportunity, we stopped in Vacaville for some quick shopping. We were quite successful - we walked away with 5 shirts, 1 suit, 1 skirt and 1 pair of dress pants!

From Vacaville it's about 40 minutes to the Calnero's. We lazily sat out by the pool all afternoon then Uncle Carl made us tri-tip sandwiches for dinner before heading off to Tessy's big show.

Yes, we are wearing scarfs in Sacramento in May. It was only about 55-60* during the evening. What the heck?!

The Rio Americano High School Fashion Show is a big fundraising event the senior class puts on each year at the local high school. It started with some musical performances and progressed into 8 dance scenes with the students dacning coreographed numbers in clothes donated by local stores. Tessy was in 2 of the main dances and the finale and of course was darling in both :)

I'm working on getting a video up (it's giving me problems for some reason) but here is a pic of her in the Phantom of the Opera number.

Everyone did such a great job. Aunt Carol really put alot of time and effort into pulling together the props used throughout the performances, and it showed!
