Mr. & Mrs. Frey

Alas, the final post from our trip back home and pictures from one of the most incredible weddings I have ever been to (and will probably ever go to!). Peter and Andrew have been friends since childhood and from the first time we met Flor we instantly knew why Peter fell in love with her - simply put, she is amazing.

On September 1st they got married at The Woods Chapel in Orono followed by a spectacular wedding reception at the Minikahda Club on Lake Calhoun.

At the entrance to this spectacular venue we picked up the above fan programs. Peter and Flor are an amazingly fun, artistic, talented couple and the vibe of their wedding, right down to the programs, was spot on.

After one look at this wedding ceremony I can pretty much guarantee you'll all be in love with both this couple and The Woods Chapel...

It was a mini reunion the whole weekend with the Edina crew. We just found out Taylor and Kali (top right) are coming out at the end of November for a week and we'll be staying with Geoff and Angela next month in NYC!

Flor wore one of the most breathtaking wedding dresses I have ever seen - EVER! It's a Monique Lhuillier - gorgeous lace overlay, plunging back, small train, ahhhhhh I'm in love.....not to mention the fact that Flor owns a yoga studio so she has pretty much the best bod ever...

Takes my breath away...

Easily one of the most memorable wedding ceremonies I have ever been to.

After grabbing a bit to eat and drink at a nearby restaurant we made our way over to the ceremony, complete with drinks on the terrance and serenading by a duet playing to accordion and saw (yes, I said saw. Like what you cut wood with. SO Peter and Flor ;)

The Krug clan (minus Gailen who couldn't make it).

The Crane family. You all know Ellis well by now :)

After admiring the view of Lake Calhoun and the Minneapolis skyline from the terrance we moved onto the croquet lawn where a big tent had been set up for dinner and dancing.

We knew it was going to be good when we started with "dessert first". Yiippeee.

Newlyweds making their entrance.

Oh and did I forget to mention there were fire dancers?! And sparklers.

AND a photo booth! Seriously, Peter and Flor thought of everything. The food was delicious, the 10 piece band was rocking' it and the photographers captured it all. Can't wait to see the professional photos.

Have you ever met/seen a cooler bride? (the right is Flor with some of her family, many of whom flew up from Mexico for the wedding).

And to cap of a perfect night we sent into the sky about 70 luminaries from the putting green.

Always the gracious hosts and loving friends, the new Mr. and Mrs. Peter Frey then invited us over to their new house in NE Minneapolis the following evening for some wine and catch up time.

Peter and Flor's whimsical wedding was such a fun way to end our long trip home. Thank you to everyone who came out/over to see us and congratulations again to both Mr. and Mrs. Burns and Mr. and Mrs. Frey!!!
