Berkeley Rose Garden

It was a perfect day on Sunday - warm and sunny with a slight breeze. We had driven by the Berkeley Rose Garden a number of times on the motorcycle and it always looked beautiful, so we took a stroll over there.

The roses were so varied and gorgeous . . . I loved being able to spend the afternoon with Andrew in the great California sunshine :)

He still hasn't figured out that when he takes a dorky picture it automatically goes on the blog! haha

BONUS PICTURE: As we approached the rose garden, across the street a group of LARPers were going at it. We had never seen real, live LARPers before! It was totally entertaining!! For those of you who aren't familiar with LARPing it stands for Live Action Role Play and is basically kids who dress up and battle with fake swords following a storyline that has been created. These kids even had 2 people videotaping their battle.
