We are mostly settled into our new home and new city. There are still some minor things we'd like to do to the place, but it generally feels "homey". Take a look and let us know what you think!
We live in a 4-plex close to the UC Berkeley campus. We love the big windows in the front, hardwood floors throughout, and our close proximity to everything!
Walking in through the front door (we have a backdoor, too) you enter into our living room . . .

We spend A LOT of time in the living room - hanging out, reading, watching TV, etc. We were so lucky that Bruce and Leslie had such great furniture for us!
This is the view "through" the apartment from the living room. Beyond the living room is the dining room/office, then the kitchen on the left, and bathroom on the right. Down the hall is a linen closet, backdoor on the right, and bedroom at the back.
We really like having a gas stove and cute little eating nook.
All of the dishes we received as wedding gifts look awesome on the exposed shelves. We're still trying to figure out the best way to secure them in the event of an earthquake . . . it's so weird having to worry about earthquakes!
Much to my surprise, sharing a bathroom with a boy has gone really well :)
The bedroom is a really good size - our queen size bed fits great . . .
and there's still room for a bunch of other junk! We're still working on getting some blackout shades for the bedroom - our makeshift curtains aren't ideal.
Thanks for taking a tour of our new place :) We hope you like it as much as we do!
