A Perfect Sunday

Today turned out to be a perfect Sunday...

We woke up around 10am; it felt SO good to sleep in - those 5:30am mornings take a toll on me! After having cinnamon rolls for breakfast we jumped in the car and drove to the south side of Berkeley to attend the 11:30 service at First Presbyterian Church. We've officially begun our search for a church home out here. It was a contemporary service with a fairly traditional sermon which turned out to be a really nice combination. It will definitely stay on our" potential new church list".

We then came home for a quick lunch of leftover homemade pizza - Andrew made the dough from scratch last night, it was awesome :)

Next on the list of things to do was a motorcycle ride up into the hills. It was such a gorgeous day (nearly 60 degrees and partly sunny), we wanted to take advantage of it. We should have known by now that just because the weather is nice at the foot of the hills (where we live) doesn't mean the weather will be nice at the top of the hills....still our journey brought us to this spectacular lookout point. This shot is facing East over Wildcat Canyon.

"Hello everyone!" :)

As the clouds started to darken we made our way home. To end the day right, we put on a movie - Enemy of the State, I can't believe neither of us had ever seen this great Will Smith action movie!?!? - and cozied up on the couch. Ahh what a great day....

p.s. I don't know if you can tell but I cut a couple of inches off of my hair on Saturday. It's so much healthier now!
