Riley part deuce

On Saturday we made the short trek up to Sonoma to show Riley 'our' winery - Viansa. We tried a bunch of different wines and tasted some incredible Italian cheese. Riley loved the wines and the beautiful views....



As a Wisconsin native who has gone to school in Minnesota and Michigan (ie land-locked states), Riley had only seen the Pacific Ocean once before. So, We drove up Highway 1 and stopped at a few beaches along the way. I'm still blown every time I see the sun set over the Pacific. Stunning....




On Sunday we did a little more SF sightseeing. From Treasure Island there is a great view of the the Bay Bridge, downtown SF, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

We also drove up to Muir Woods National Park to check out some of the famous giant redwood trees. Some of the tallest trees are as tall as 20-30 story office buildings!!

We loved having Riley stay with us. It's so fun to have visitors!
